the location is great and absolutely perfect, not far from the restaurant and Harbour Bridge. North Sydney district certainly deserves to be visited.

i had a king room included with harbour view, 1 bedroom, for example. the location was particularly good and perfect, staff were amiable. the daily service was very good.
The breakfast was average, I think it could be better.

Price was a little steep for what was on offer, All the In room bar food and most of the drinks were out of date by at least 5 months, which was disgusting especially for a "high class hotel", room had drawings on the wall which were never cleaned, and the paint was bad,

The newly redecorated place is clean with pleasant and incredibly nice staff who promptly fulfilled a request for a microwave to be taken to the room.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, particularly as my daughter was not well and I had to rush home and bring her back to the hotel to stay with us for the night.
We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs in Rydges and I didn't think the food was particularly good. I felt the iPad thing was gimmicky and it didn't give us a chance to ask questions about the dinner. The lady who served us just seemed too busy and not very friendly. I will definitely book Rydges North Sydney again for another business meeting but will organise dinner outside the hotel next time.
